Tshikuna (Franklin) Muanankese
Tshikuna (Franklin) Muanankese founded Tacoma Mountain Group (TMG) LLC to leverage his experience in energy, tech-enabled services, and information technology to acquire, manage, and grow a small business.
Franklin's prior experiences include roles at various divisions within ExxonMobil corporation: Refining and Supply, Chemicals, and Research and Engineering. As a Group Lead at ExxonMobil's Chemicals division, he managed and provided technical expertise to a team of five control system engineers and specialists at three chemical plants. At ExxonMobil's Research and Engineering division, he developed and deployed enterprise software and industrial hardware for ExxonMobil’s global manufacturing sites. At ExxonMobil's Refining and Supply division, he implemented industrial instrumentation.
Franklin also has experience working with small companies on product, sales, and business development, ranging from customer discovery, go-to-market strategy, product operations, client relationship management deployment, and sales and marketing strategy.
Franklin earned a double BS with honors from the University of Maryland, College Park with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Theoretical Mathematics, and a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship. He also earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently resides in the Greater Washington DC Area.
